Report says Utah is one of the worst states for work-family support

SALT LAKE CITY – Ask anyone who has moved to Utah why they chose the Beehive State, and many will often say it’s a great place to raise children.

But a new report from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research says that Utah is severely lacking in areas that support a healthy work-family balance.

Utah received an F in the rankings, and places at the bottom of the pack with Indiana.

The report examined the type of support families receive at the state level, and looks at paid leave, childcare, preschool education and other factors.
