Where to celebrate National Donut Day in Utah
National Donut Day is Friday, June 3. If you happen to love donuts, you’re really going to love Friday, because that’s the day that’s dedicated to celebrating the delicacy.

Chicago’s The Salvation Army first started National Doughnut Day as a fund raiser in 1938, to help during the Great Depression. They also wanted to honor the “lassies,” who were the female volunteers who supported the soldiers during World War I. They served them meals with donuts, and today National Doughnut Day is a way to honor and celebrate that act of kindness.
