DIY home remedies to treat dry, cracked or sore feet
Dry cracked heels is a painful problem for many people. Our feet endure a lot of stress. If you stand for long periods of time the pressure, alone, can cause them to crack.
In the winter months, cracked heels are an especially common issue, and in the summer those flip flops play havoc with your skin.

Here are some of the best and unique treatments from bloggers for dry, cracked and sore feet:

There are plenty of natural, homemade remedies for dry skin, and many times they turn out to be less expensive than store-bought products. Tipnut.com suggests using cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax and jojoba oil to combat dry and sensitive skin.
Take those ingredients, and place them in a large Pyrex measuring cup or casserole dish and cover loosely with foil. Heat 2 hours in a 180°F oven until all the ingredients are melted. Stir, then pour into a few heat-proof jars for storage.
3. Olive oil and lemon juice

Now, this is an interesting remedy. Ehow.com says you can treat cracked heels with a moisturizing combination of lemon juice, olive oil and other food-based ingredients.
Fill a pan with half a cup of lemon juice and some warm water. Soak your feet up to 20 minutes. Grind a handful of uncooked rice into a fine powder and add 3 teaspoons of honey. Combine the honey and rice powder and add a little apple cider vinegar to the mixture to create a paste then top it off with a teaspoon of olive oil. Scrub the paste on your heels with a pumice stone. Soak your feet in warm water for another 10 minutes and pat them dry with a towel.
