Every once in a while, if you lurk on Twitter into the late hours of the night, a supremely epic hashtag centered around Utah will creep into your over-tired but intrigued subconscious, and you can’t help but be drawn in to the conversation.

Monday night was one of those nights.

Case-in-point: the #UtahRealityShow hashtag (which, by the way, started trending almost immediately in Salt Lake City).

There are some real gems, highlighting Utah’s predominant LDS culture, unique city and town names, and the way we live life here in the Beehive State. Allegedly, the trending topic of coming up with catchy reality show names based on Utah culture started with former television sportscaster Rick Aaron, and a Tweet written around 3 p.m. Monday:

“Here are some #UtahRealityShow ideas: The Real Housewives of Utah County, American Fork Idol, Redwood Road Rules. Add your own.”

And the whole thing took off.
