What to expect at this year’s X96 Big Ass Show

Crowd at Concert

Time to bust out your trendiest threads and warm up those dancing feet- the 19th annual X96 Toyota Big Ass Show, or “BASh”, is on its way to conclude summer with one big party.

There will be great food, drinks, and of course another epic lineup at The Gallivan Center on Sept. 27, 2014.

Provo’s own Neon Trees will headline once again as X96 shows off its eclectic music style. Capital Cities, Phantogram, A Day to Remember, Broods, Nightmare & the Cat and Priory will also rock out at this all day event.

In order to make this year’s Big Ass Show the best yet, here are a few things to keep in mind:

The Venue

The Gallivan Center is an outdoor venue. Along with those trendy threads, it’d be wise to wear a hat for some personal shade.

Food & Drinks

No drinks or food will be allowed into the venue. There will be free water stations, so take advantage and stay hydrated- perhaps bring your own empty water bottle. Food and drinks will also be for sale, so bring cash.

Wear Sunscreen!

Concert goers will be out in the sun starting at noon until sundown. It will be hot and the sun will be shining, so make sure you apply a high SPF.

Stick Around

Come early, but beware- there will be no re-entry into the grounds.

The Gallivan Center is an outdoor, smaller venue, so come early to secure a spot. Take note that there are no chairs or umbrellas allowed.

Get your tickets early to avoid waiting in the ticket line the day of the show. Tickets are available at all Graywhale locations and all Smith’s Tix outlets for $25 plus service fees.

Rain or shine, the show will go on. Bring your friends and get ready to dance the summer away.
