Feast With the Beasts at Hogle Zoo

Visit the zoo while the turkey is in the oven and watch keepers give the animals, turkey shaped piñatas, pumpkins and other Thanksgiving treats to stomp, roll, drop & chomp. Make free craft at the Fresh Market booth!

Utah Human Race for the Utah Food Bank

Turkey Trots Throughout Northern Utah

Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Trot” races and fun runs throughout the valley give us all a chance to burn some calories before the big feast. The Utah Food Bank’s Human Race is the biggest, but there are lots of other Thankgsgiving themed races around northern Utah on Thanksgiving Day and throughout the month.

 

Utah Ski Resorts

Why not spend the day skiing before sitting down to Thanksgiving Dinner? If Mother Nature cooperates, most Utah ski resorts will be open Thanksgiving Day. Some offer dining options as well. Check the resort website for offers.
