5 simple tips that will help you wake up early to exercise
We all know that exercising in the morning is ideal. There’s nothing like getting a great workout in before your day starts, but sometimes half the battle is just getting out of bed.
Fortunately, there are some things you can do to ensure you do get out of bed and into your exercise routine with little resistance from Mr. Sandman.

1. Choose the right alarm clock.
An alarm clock can either make or break your day. Be sure to choose one that has a sound that wakes you up, but doesn’t scare you half to death. When you hear the alarm clock in the morning, get out of bed right away, and don’t push the snooze button.
2. Set out your workout clothes the night before.
When you mentally prepare the night before your workout, you’re more likely to be ready to get out of bed the next morning.
3. Wake up at the same time each day.
Your body has an internal clock, and when you wake up at the same time everyday, regardless if you’re exercising, it will be that much easier to get out of bed.
4. Eat a good breakfast.
The trick is to eat just enough to give you fuel for your workout. Some quick and easy pre-workout foods include dry toast, granola or a banana.
5. Set a goal, and keep track of your progress.
The best way to stay motivated is to set one easy goal, and determine a plan of action to reach that goal. Then keep track of your progress along the way until you reach that goal.
