5 blockbuster concerts in Utah this Fall

As the temperature in Utah turns chilly, why not find an awesome concert to attend? From country music, to pop and R&B, the concerts this fall are sure to help keep your mind off those cold evenings.

Here are five Utah concerts to get excited about this fall:

Josh Groban with Judith Hill – Oct. 11

A multi-talented musician, Josh Groban has four, certified multi-platnum solo albums, and has sold over 25 million records worldwide. He as dipped his hands in everything from singing, songwriting, acting and producing records, and is known to make women swoon. You might remember Groban’s performance of “The Prayer” with fellow singer Charlotte Church at the closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Catch him at the Energy Solutions Arena this year with Judith Hill in Groban’s “In the Round” tour, which gives fans a 360-degree experience by placing the stage in the middle of the floor. Tickets.

P!NK – Oct. 17

American singer-songwriter P!nk began her solo career in 2000 with the single “There You Go”, and has since become a successful artist with over 100 million records sold worldwide as of 2013. Drawing influence from other musicians like Janis Joplin, Joan Jett, Whitney Houston and Mary J. Blige, P!nk’s vocal style can be described as powerful and emotive. The Truth About Love Tour brings P!nk to 34 cities in the second leg of the tour, including the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City. Tickets.

KMFDM – Oct. 22

If you’re needing your fill of heavy metal guitar riffs set to electronic beats, samples and fists in the air, you should check out German industrial band KMFDM in Park City. Check out the group’s We Are KMFDM Tour 2013 stop with guest Chant at Park City Live. Tickets.

Imagine Dragons – Oct. 25

It’s rare to turn on the radio lately and not hear an Imagine Dragons song, like “Radioactive”, which Rolling Stone magazine has named the “biggest rock hit of the year” in 2013. Lead singer Dan Reynolds met drummer Andrew Tolman while attending Brigham Young University in 2008, and went on to record the successful EP Continued Silence, and the studio album Night Visions. Imagine Dragons will be playing at the Dee Events Center in Ogden. Tickets.

Selena Gomez – Nov. 14

Selena Gomez is not just another Disney Channel actor turned recording artist. Even though she had guest star appearances on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena has claimed a successful recording career, and her latest single “Come and Get It” reached the Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. Her Stars Dance Tour makes a stop at Energy Solutions Arena. Tickets.
